Manimo is a weighted plush that was created here 20 years ago year. It was first design for children with special needs individuals (autism and ADHD for example) and sold to education professionals. Over time, Manimo has become a therapeutic tool used in schools, by all children to help them focus and manage their energy level. We can say that just about every child in Quebec knows about Manimo! Scientifically proven, its weight exerts pressure deep that regulates the central nervous system. When the child is agitated, it helps to calm him down. When the child is amorphous, it allows to bring the attention back to its level optimum. We could compare it to a movement of pendulum.
The child places Manimo on him for between 15 and 20 minutes, to get between 1 to 2 hours of benefits. Used during homework time, moments of relaxation or even at bedtime.
In addition to being hypoallergenic, it is very easy to clean. He just soak it in water with a mild soap and let dry flat.
