Our history

Founded in 1939, CLÉMENT is now led by the third generation of the Clément family. For over 85 years, the Quebec-based company has been supporting families at every stage of their children’s lives, offering a thoughtfully curated selection of clothing, accessories and furniture for babies and children.

A recognized leader in its field, CLÉMENT now operates 35 boutiques, a strong online store, and employs over 750 passionate team members across Quebec, as well as in Ontario and New Brunswick. Every day, our teams share the same mission: to provide a caring, accessible experience that truly meets the needs of today’s families.

As a family-owned business deeply rooted in its community, CLÉMENT is committed to making a positive impact — both by creating jobs and by supporting causes close to its heart. For several years, the company has been actively involved with foundations dedicated to children’s health, including Sainte-Justine Hospital, Les Enfants d’Amour de Madame Brissette, and the CHU de Québec.

We have shopped at Clement in Quebec and have started supporting the new saint john store locally. My wife went in to pick up an online order and she received bad attitude and was told there was nothing for her to pick up. The online status states the order is ready for pickup. She won't shop there again.
