Description

The new Arya swivel glider and recliner with removable cushions offers baby's rooms a sleek, relaxed, and comfortable style with plush cushions, which allow you to sink into the chair to find the ideal relaxing position.

This recliner swivels with a smooth gliding motion, so you won't disturb your little one's sleep while you get comfortable.

FEATURES:
-Compact size - perfect for limited space.

-Carefully cut, assembled and filled by hand by our expert craftsmen in our Canadian factory in Terrebonne, Quebec.
-Solid wooden structure, built with the traditional mortise and tenon assembly method.
-Swivel base in solid wood. Manual version swivel 36 0°.
-Anti-sag spring coated with Teflon, ensuring quiet operation without squeaking.
-The back cushion is made from the best possible materials and equipped with a zip to prevent it from sliding everywhere.
-Our cushions are filled with a quality polyester fiber that is lightweight and soft, non-absorbent and mildew resistant.
-The seat cushion is padded with high density foam.
-Grade A and B fabric covering, with “railroad” stiching seams and flange edges.
-Smooth and quiet reclining mechanism; raising the footrest and lowering the backrest.
-Manual version: The integrated footrest mechanism is activated using a handle accessible on the right side of the chair. And the backrest can be reclined by simple body pressure to improve the comfort level.
-Capacity to accommodate a weight of up to 350 lbs.
-Armrest lowered to allow breastfeeding/feeding of the baby.
-The backrest in the fully lowered position offers an optimal inclination of up to 130°, perfect for long sleeps and for baby feeding, thus reducing regurgitation and/or colic.
-Side pocket on the left, for accessories, baby bottles, wipes, etc...
-All parts of the chair as well as its packaging meet the highest Canadian and American standards (CPSIA, VOC, PFOS, PFOA, formaldehyde, heavy metals or phthalates and flammability).

Confort et qualité

Nous avons acheté le fauteuil Arya dans la teinte Puppy Pearl pour la chambre de notre nouveau-né, et nous en sommes absolument ravis. Le fauteuil est à la fois élégant et extrêmement confortable. Le rembourrage est moelleux sans être trop mou, ce qui est parfait pour les longues séances d’allaitement ou simplement pour bercer bébé.

La fonction pivotante et berçante est très fluide et silencieuse — un gros plus pour ne pas réveiller bébé. Le mécanisme d’inclinaison manuel fonctionne bien une fois qu’on a pris le coup, et le repose-pieds intégré est très pratique.

Nous apprécions particulièrement la hauteur idéale des accoudoirs pour soutenir les bras pendant l’allaitement, ainsi que la poche latérale qui permet de garder une couverture ou un biberon à portée de main.

Le fait que le fauteuil soit fabriqué au Québec avec des matériaux de qualité supérieure ajoute à notre satisfaction. C’est un investissement, certes, mais on sent tout de suite la différence avec d’autres fauteuils moins chers.

Je recommande vivement ce fauteuil à tous les parents en préparation de la chambre de bébé — c’est un vrai coup de cœur!

Absolutely do not recommend

I had a horrible experience with this chair and company. I would absolutely not recommend purchasing this item.
The chair itself is not conducive to anyone nursing or experiencing any pain/challenges postpartum as it’s incredibly stiff and the recline feature (in manual) is essentially unusable. You need to be either laying completely flat or sitting straight up otherwise you need to keep the chair in position yourself propping yourself up with your foot and core which isn’t easy with a newborn baby or with any type of postpartum pain. If you are dead set on this chair go with automatic.
Given these issues I tried to return this chair and had the worst experience with Clement. I was told by two representative to “go to the website” to initiate a return which does not give you a clear idea of how to return a large item. After a lot of back and forth they essentially made it impractical and impossible to actually return this item.
This has been one of the most stressful experiences I have had during my pregnancy and I would never recommend shopping with this company. Again if you are dead set on this chair buy it from anywhere else! The price really doesn’t vary from other retailers you can also have it shipped directly from Jaymar. I would recommend pottery barn if you are going to spend this much on a chair.
