The Magic Wall is an adhesive decal designed for one-time application. Please be aware that cosmetic damages may occur after removal, requiring sanding/paint touch-ups (if you ask us, it’s well worth it for the endless hours of fun!)

Care

We recommend cleaning your Magic Wall after each use when chalk or dry erase markers are applied to the surface. 
To remove chalk or wet erase marker, use a soft damp cloth. Use a dry cloth to wipe dry if needed. 
Avoid leaving chalk or wet erase markers on the surface for an extended period of time to prevent staining. 

MAGIC WALL COMPATIBILITY GUIDE

The Magic Wall may not adhere to the following wall types: 

Stain-Resistant/Stain-Blocking Paint: These paints, which often come in semi-gloss or glossy finishes, are specially made to prevent anything from sticking to them. While excellent for keeping dirt and stains away, they are not compatible with the Magic Wall. 
Air-Purifying Paints
Textured Surfaces & Wallpaper: avoid textured paint finishes or surfaces such as plaster, embossed wallpaper, brick or lacquered finishes. Rough or textured walls make it difficult for decals to stick.
Newly Painted Walls: Allow at least 30 days before applying The Magic Wall to ensure optimal adhesion.
Damaged, Cracked or Old Paint: Avoid applying to old paint, damaged or cracked walls which can prevent adhesion.

MAGIC WALL APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: PREPARE

Check the Compatibility Guide to ensure your wall is compatible. 
Wipe away any dust, oil or debris that could interfere with adhesion. If you need to wash your walls, wait 72 hours before application and avoid detergent. 
Flatten the Magic Wall by laying a few heavy books on top for 24 hours before application.
For best results, apply the Magic Wall to a smooth dry painted wall. Avoid textured walls such as plaster, embossed wallpaper, brick or lacquered/stain-resistant finishes.

STEP 2: PEEL AND STICK

Gently peel a corner of the protective backing, exposing a small portion of the adhesive.
Align and press the exposed adhesive to the wall, starting from the bottom. Gradually peel the backing while pressing the decal firmly into place.
Ensure that only the sticker backing is peeled, not the adhesive.  
Avoid removing or repositioning after applying The Magic Wall, as this reduces stickiness.

STEP 3: SECURE IT

Press firmly over the decal with the included smoothing tool, starting at the center and working outward to remove all air bubbles. 
The adhesive is pressure sensitive, so repeat firmly 2-3 times for best adhesion, ensuring no creases or air bubbles are left.
Allow 72 hours for the adhesive to fully stick before using magnets, preventing separation from the wall.
